Here at OCN, we love all things weird and supernatural. So when a story came across our desks about a mysterious object that had been spotted in the skies of Westminster, well, we just had to write about it. I mean, how could we not? A YouTube channel called UFO Institute posted a video on May 10 that showed a strange, black diamond-shaped object hovering over Westminster. It appeared to be around 2,000 feet above the ground, according to an eyewitness. [caption id="attachment_37115" align="aligncenter" width="1008"]

The video was captured on an iPhone through a pair of binoculars.
A case has been opened on the sighting and is currently being investigated by the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON), an organization dedicated to studying UFO sightings.
The eyewitness wrote in the sighting report submitted to MUFON, "The object appeared to have a silver object hanging below the main body. The object was black in colour but had a shiny surface. The duration of watching this subject was approximately 15 minutes. I estimate the size of the object to be approximately that of a single-engine Cessna aircraft, may be larger."
Continuing, the sighting report said that the mysterious object was "traveling south to north over Standley Lake and continuing on a pattern that would take it over Rocky Mountain metropolitan airport."

Many have said that the mystery object is not a UFO, but a plastic bag flying in the wind. Regardless of whatever side of the coin you fall on, you've got to admit that it's a pretty crazy sight.
