St. Louis-based BBQ chain Sugarfire Smoke House is expanding out of Missouri and into Colorado. It's expected to open this summer.

A Missouri-based BBQ restaurant is opening its first Colorado location in Westminster this year, and our mouths are already watering with anticipation! Sugarfire Smoke House is an award-winning BBQ chain best known for its ability to push the boundaries and to create crazy daily specials. And you can always guarantee that there will be something wrapped in bacon. The restaurant's co-founder and chef Mike Johnson will be working with Colorado natives Chad and Jamie Green to run and operate the new location. The appropriately named "Sugarfire Westy" is set to begin construction in March and scheduled to open over the summer. [gallery type="rectangular" size="large" ids="33969,33968"]
"We are so excited to join a growing barbecue community here in Colorado and can't wait to share Sugarfire's unique and edge perspective on low and slow cooking," Chad Green said in a statement. And, arguably, the best part of Sugarfire Westy will be the full-service bar with weekly drink specials, which is something that none of the other locations have. Sugarfire's Colorado location isn't the only one opening across the country -- Cape Girardeau, Indianapolis, and O'Fallon are all expected to open this year. The BBQ chain currently has locations in Olivette, St. Charles, Valley Park, Winghaven, Farmington, St. Louis, and Washington (Missouri). The new Colorado location will be at 14375 Orchard Parkway in Westminster. For more information, please visit Sugarfire Smoke House's website. Have you had Sugarfire before?
