Siba is the fifth Standard Poodle to win the coveted title of Best in Show at the Westminster Dog Show.

Over 2,500 dogs competed in this year's Westminster Dog Show, after qualifying in smaller classes and competitions. The road to Westminster is a long one, and only the best of the best make it to the final rounds.

After 144 shows, Westminster has got it down pat. The annual spectacle occurs over two days every February, always in New York, and it ends at Madison Square Garden with the crowning of Best in Show. It's such an iconic event that there have been numerous parodies of it, including a feature film!

This year's top dog is quite a specimen of grace, dignity, and impeccable grooming.

In addition to the thousands of other dogs that she beat to win the title, Siba also came out on top against six other finalists. Anyone else feeling a bit of hair envy just watching these clips?

The dogs are judged by the specifications of their own breed, as decided on by a panel of experts. They are first categorized into sporting dogs, hounds, working dogs, terriers, toy dogs, non-sporting dogs, and herding dogs. In addition to appearance, they are also studied during agility exercises and a range of commands.

Don't think that this is the end of the road for Siba. She'll be expected to make a bunch of public appearances, including national interviews like this one on The View:
