Barbara Walters, television icon and longtime ABC News broadcaster, has died. She was 93.

"Barbara Walters passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by loved ones. She lived her life with no regrets. She was a trailblazer not only for female journalists but for all women," Walters’ spokesperson Cindi Berger said in a statement.

With more than 6 decades in television, Walters earned 12 Primetime Emmy nominations for The Barbara Walters Special, with one win; 33 Daytime Emmy Award nominations, with 3 wins; and a Lifetime Achievement Award. She was also inducted into the Television Hall of Fame in 1989.
