The moment we've all been dreaming of ...

Disneyland Paris has announced that it will reopen on June 17, 2021, with new attractions and safety protocols.

The reopening also includes other properties located within the resort, including Walt Disney Studios Park, Disney’s Newport Bay Club Hotel, and the Disney Village shopping, dining, and entertainment complex. Disney’s Hotel New York – The Art of Marvel (the first hotel in the world dedicated to the art of Marvel Super Heroes and the artists who created them) opens on June 21.

Natacha Rafalski, president of Disneyland Paris, said in a statement, "We have all been dreaming of this moment. The moment [when] we can reunite and enjoy unforgettable moments with our family and friends. When Disneyland Paris reopens, our Guests will be able to enjoy the outstanding experiences we are known for, from iconic attractions and new heart-warming Character moments to unique interactions with our Cast Members and even a few surprises along the way."

Disneyland Paris was closed from March through July. It reopened on July 15 and then closed again on October 29. It remained closed despite talk of Christmas and mid-February 2021 reopenings. The other Disney parks—California’s Disneyland, Florida’s Walt Disney World, Tokyo Disney, Shanghai Disneyland, and Hong Kong Disneyland—have all reopened with limited capacity.

Enhanced health and safety measures such as face masks, social distancing, and limited capacity will be implemented. Hand sanitizing stations will be placed throughout the parks. As with U.S. parks, the FastPass system is unavailable.

Opened in 1992, Disneyland Paris is Europe’s number one tourist destination. From Disneyland’s Sleeping Beauty Castle, It’s a Small World, and Big Thunder Mountain to Walt Disney Studios Park’s Ratatouille: The Adventure, Crush’s Coaster, and Twilight Zone Tower of Terror, Disneyland Paris’ rides and attractions delight guests from around the world.

Some of the new attractions that guests can enjoy at Disneyland Paris include selfie spots, a Cars ROAD TRIP Experience, and the return of Buzz Lightyear Laser Blast.
