Start the Christmas season off right, with an inspirational celebration of music by the Cathedral Choral Society.

The National Cathedral will be the beautiful backdrop to three wondrous shows that include Christmas choral music and festive sing-alongs. Conducted by Steven Fox, "Joy of Christmas" will sweep you into the holiday spirit with classical pieces and modern favorites, all accompanied by an organ and brass quintet, Seraph Brass.

Program selections include Ave Maria (Rachmaninoff), On Christmas Night (arr. Ledger), Hymn to the Virgin (Britten), The Blessed Son of God (Vaughan Williams), Hark the Herald Angels Sing, and many more!

Know before you go:

  • Advance purchase tickets will be mailed to you so be sure to keep your online confirmation email handy just in case.
  • There are senior and veteran discounts (10 percent), as well as $16 student tickets, available in every section except Premium Nave.
  • Street parking is extremely limited around The National Cathedral. If you drive in, use the underground parking garage ($9 for Saturday visits and $10 for event parking).   • The National Cathedral will be decorated for Christmas; bring a good camera to take lots of family photos!
