A ticket to Veramar Vineyard's Rock the Grapes Festival on October 20 lets you taste local wines, enjoy live music, and try a little stomping.

Roll up your skirts and jump in a vat if you've always wanted to try your hand, um, foot at making wine. October is Virginia Wine Month, and they celebrate in a big way at Veramar Vineyard in Berryville, VA. Three generations of the Bogaty family keep the tradition of wine-making alive, and they invite you to come out and enjoy their annual festival among the vines.

WHEN: Saturday, October 20 | 12–6 p.m.
WHERE: 905 Quarry Road in Berryville, VA
TICKETS: $15 for the general public, $12.75 for Wine Club Members

Tickets can be purchased online here or at the gate on the day of the event. Each ticket gives you one tasting ticket for any of the wineries at the festival, as well as a souvenir wine glass. You'll be able to taste wines from Veramar Vineyard, James Charles Winery, and the Bogati Winery. If you like something a little sweeter, wine-a-ritas are available all day for only $5 each! Entertainment includes live music from The Cruisers and grape-stomping after 4 p.m. Local food will be available for purchase.

Know before you go:

You are encouraged to bring folding lawn chairs or picnic blankets.

Pets are not allowed at this festival.

Tickets are non-refundable, and the party will go on, rain or shine.
