Wine lovers everywhere relish the end of the harvest season and the Beaujolais Nouveau parties held all over the world. Head to the Embassy of France for an evening of wine-tasting, French food, and a wonderful international night of celebration.

PARKING: Limited street parking on Reservoir Road, pay garages across the street at Georgetown University Hospital, ride-sharing is recommended

COST: Visit the ticketing site for three tiers of admission

General admission tickets ($69 each) allow for 8 p.m. entry to the event. Grand Cru VIP tickets ($135 each) allow for early entry at 6:30 p.m. Chateau Table Service ($895 for 4) allows for early entry at 6:30 p.m., a reserved table, 2 bottles of champagne, and individual service for drinks and food all night.

Know before you go:

  • There will be no parking on the embassy grounds. Don't count on street parking -- it's extremely tight due to its proximity to Georgetown University Hospital. You're going to need a designated driver anyway, so arrange a ride!
  • The closest Metro stop is Dupont, if you want to split up the trip in.
  • Due to security restrictions, a valid photo I.D. will be required to enter the event.
