This new holiday pop-up bar will make all of your Christmas cocktail dreams come true.

Pumpkin spice is everywhere and Halloween is on its way. In a few short weeks, it will be time to talk about Christmas! A perfect way to usher in the winter holidays is with a cocktail (or two) in a bar completely covered in Christmas decorations. A new holiday-themed pop-up bar called “Tinseltown” is coming to D.C. in November.

This secret pop-up bar promises to deliver a bespoke cocktail experience inside a Christmas wonderland complete with elves, upside trees, and tinsel draped over everything that doesn’t move.

Pop-up bars are a fun way for existing bars to shake things up and bring in something new without doing a complete re-brand. Hidden, the company behind Tinseltown, creates unique pop-up experiences in cities around the world. Here in Washington, Hidden has offered active events like the Bubble Run, bowling, archery, and dining events, including “glow” dining, a chili festival, and a Taylor Swift-themed event called "The Swifty Brunch."

One of the current pop-up cocktail experiences offered in D.C. is “The Alice,” an interactive event based on the tea party in Alice in Wonderland. Guests are invited to solve riddles, paint roses red and dine on “eat me” cookies while enjoying wonderland-themed cocktails. Past events include the Cinderella cocktail experience, House of Burton; based on the world of Tim Burton, and a boozy donut festival.

Tinseltown will be located in the heart of D.C. at 1220 Connecticut Ave. N.W. and will be open from November 3 through December 26.

The event is geared toward guests over 21 and over but children are allowed to attend. Tickets are on sale now and those that take advantage of early bird status will get $5 off the $20 admission price.
