Shoppers can get up to 35 percent off everything in the beauty department during the store's annual beauty event.

Whole Foods will kick off its annual "beauty week" on March 11 in stores across the country. Shoppers can learn about the latest trends and get discounts on cosmetics, skincare, haircare, nail care, and more. Every product in the beauty department will be 25 percent off with Amazon Prime members getting an additional 10 percent off. The store will also be offering two new beauty bags, each stuffed with samples and full-sized products priced at $20 each.

Beauty Week 2020 will run from Wednesday, March 11, through Tuesday, March 17. Whole Foods has collaborated with makeup artist Katie Jane Hughes and will share her personal beauty tips along with the top five beauty trends for 2020.

Blue Light

When most of us think about protecting skin from UV rays, we think about wearing sunscreen outside. But there is another form of light lurking inside: blue light. The light from computers, mobile devices, and LED lighting can cause skin damage and premature aging. Products like DERMA E’s Blue Light Shield Spray, $16.95, helps hydrate and rebalance skin after a day behind the computer.

Bakuchiol

Bakuchiol is derived from an East Asian plant as an alternative to retinol. Products with retinol help reduce fine lines and make skin firmer and more youthful. Unfortunately, retinol can irritate skin and cause redness. Burt's Bees Renewal Intensive Firming Serum,$19.95, is formulated with Bakuchiol and can be used daily to combat the signs of aging.

Glycolic Acid

Glycolic Acid is an alpha-hydroxy acid that helps remove dead skin, speeding the emergence of fresher, smoother skin. You can find it in everything from toners to night masks, and it is the most popular ingredient in skin exfoliators. ACURE's Resurfacing Glycolic plus Unicorn Root Cleanser, $12.99, combines, rose quartz, unicorn root, and glycolic acid to deliver exfoliated skin that is smoother and brighter.

Masks for the Whole Body

Skin masks have been a big part of the beauty landscape for the past few years. Brands have been introducing masks for the neck, décolletage, and even the rear end. The Yes To Tighter and Lifted Booty-ful Paper Mask, $4.99, has caffeine and guarana helps to tighten the skin giving your cheeks smoother appearance.

Watermelon

This refreshing fruit isn’t just for eating. Its high water content makes it the perfect pairing for skin moisturizers, masks, and hair products. Nügg Morning Glow Watermelon Sleeping Mask, $9.99, locks in moisture overnight, giving you plump, toned skin in the morning. It also comes in an eco-friendly multi-use pouch.

You can try these and other beauty trend products in-store during beauty week. The beauty bags will be available for $20 each beginning on Friday, March 13, while supplies last.
