It's official, Broncos Country. Running back Phillip Lindsay has parted ways with the organization and is now a free agent.
Mike McCartney, Lindsay's agent, wrote on Twitter:
After great conversations with the @Broncos, it's been mutually decided that rescinding the RFA Tender is best for both Phillip Lindsay and the team. It's been a great 3 years in Denver for @I_CU_boy. Nothing beats seeing @EmpowerField rocking as it did when #30 broke a long run.

The former Pro Bowler had an explosive rookie season in 2018, when he rushed for 1,037 yards and 9 touchdowns. He then rushed for 1,011 yards and 7 touchdowns in 2019.

In response to this news, Lindsay took to Twitter and wrote, "Iām very appreciative for my time with the Denver Broncos. As a Colorado kid, I was able to fulfill my dream of playing for my home team. I want to thank my teammates, coaches, staff and everyone involved in the Broncos organization who made this possible for me."
