What do you think about the Commanders potentially making Woodbridge their new home?

According to ESPN, the Washington Commanders have reportedly paid more than $100 million for land in Woodbridge, Virginia. Could this be the new home for their stadium? It's possible, but the team also isn't ruling out areas in Maryland and Washington, D.C.

ESPN says that the Commanders purchased approximately 200 acres of land in a deal that was finalized last week. However, it has yet to be filed with Prince William County.

Virginia State Senator Jeremy McPike said the deal is a "purchase option." This gives the team the right to buy the land in the future.

A source told ESPN that the land in Woodbridge is "the team's preferred site for a new stadium, but other options remain open."

In addition, there's a chance the team will buy a 70-acre site roughly 23 miles away from Washington, D.C.

The build plans include a 60,000-seat dome stadium, a practice facility, a 15,000-seat amphitheater, an indoor music arena, retail shops, bars and restaurants, and even residential living.
