Chance is a Gila monster and has been mascot the mascot of VGK since 2017. It's not exactly a bad look; it seemingly just takes a while to get behind. Chance represents an inclusive culture for all newcomers to hockey. The Golden Knights were the first professional sports team to be established in Vegas, and Chance represents the potential of that.
