Let's be real. The only thing that people enjoy more than the game is the food. And you're bound to enjoy the new food items that Coors Field is cooking up this season!

Opening Day is quickly approaching, along with the 2018 baseball season, and we're all looking forward to the heat the Rockies will be dishing out, both on the field and in the kitchen. There are six new food items being introduced at Coors Field this year, and they are: Rocky Mountain Po'Boy [caption id="attachment_34973" align="aligncenter" width="640"]new food Courtesy of Aramark[/caption] Of course, Rocky Mountain Oysters aren't oysters at all. They're also probably something you don't want on your sandwich, but hey. To each their own, right? The sandwich also comes with garlic slaw, green chili ranch, guacamole, pico de gallo, and cotija cheese.   Taco Club [caption id="attachment_34969" align="aligncenter" width="770"]new food Courtesy of Aramark[/caption] It's a sandwich AND a taco! Taco-seasoned ground beef, melted cheese, shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, fried jalapeƱos, and avocado sour cream all on top of a roll. Chicken and Purple Slaw Taco Trio [caption id="attachment_34974" align="aligncenter" width="770"]new food Courtesy of Aramark[/caption] Try saying that five times fast. Enjoy three flour tortillas filled with chicken and purple slaw. It's simple yet delicious.
Triple Play Dog [caption id="attachment_34972" align="aligncenter" width="768"]new food Courtesy of Aramark[/caption] Take a hot dog, add pulled pork, bacon bits and purple slaw. That's a lot of food for a little dog. Mile High Mac-N-Cheese [caption id="attachment_34971" align="aligncenter" width="770"]new food Courtesy of Aramark[/caption] The Mile High Mac-N-Cheese is a spicy combination of green chile mac-n-cheese, chorizo, and pico de gallo. One thing's for sure, it's gonna have a kick! Rockies Fritters [caption id="attachment_34970" align="aligncenter" width="770"]new food Courtesy of Aramark[/caption] Fried purple berry fritters topped off with a sweet rum glaze. Oh! And there are purple and silver "pearls," because why not? #RockiesPride I'll be honest. They all sound quite -- what's the word, um ... oh yeah, gross. So I'll be passing on the new items and sticking to the classic beer and hot dog combo. It's a classic for a reason! What do YOU think of the new food items the Rockies will be cooking up this season? Are you a fan? Let us know in the comments below. We'll see you at Opening Day on April 6!
