Way to represent! Colorado athletes brought home nine medals from the 2018 Winter Olympics, which is more than 77 countries that participated in PyeongChang.

While it was a lackluster year for Team USA in terms of medal count, it could've been a lot worse had it not been for eight Colorado athletes. Out of the 23 medals that the U.S. finished with -- nine gold, eight silver, and six bronze -- these athletes brought home nine! In comparison, Colorado ended up winning more medals than 77 countries! So, basically, if Colorado was its own country, it would've tied China for 14th place overall. How crazy is that?? If you're interested in seeing the 77 countries with fewer medals than Colorado, check out the lengthy list Westword created. The U.S. came in fourth place, trailing behind Norway (39 medals), Germany (31), and Canada (29).
