If you're craving authentic English food, then head over to The Pure Pasty Company. Treat yourself to flaky Cornish pasties and innovative variations of the classic dish.

While not a fancy spot, the Pure Pasty Company is THE place to go for traditional British pasties and meat pies. The vibe is casual enough for a quick lunch and convenient if you want to just pop in to pick up some pasties for later. In case you were wondering, pasty is pronounced "pass-tee."

So what is a pasty, anyway? In the simplest sense, it's a handheld meat pie. At this Vienna eatery, it is much, much more. You can find the traditional beef pasty alongside an exotic Moroccan version filled with lamb, chickpeas, raisins, and cherries.

In addition to the sumptuous, savory pasties, you can also find sausage rolls, a full menu of eat-in food, imported chocolate bars, and treats straight from the U.K. Craving a crumbly flake? They've got them! Want to stop by for a steaming cup of soup? They've got those too!

Don't just take my word for it though; Pure Pasty was awarded the 2018 AND 2019 World Championship of Pasties at the international competition in Cornwall.

They really push the envelope with new creations like the Impossible Pasty.

You can also follow along on their Twitter account to see what small-batch savories the chef is cooking up each month.
