Have fun with your food!

Hapa Sushi Grill & Sake Bar is an awesome sushi restaurant with locations in Denver and Boulder. One thing that really stands out to me about this place is how unique (and, sometimes, sexual) the names are for their sushi rolls. I love to see restaurants with a sense of humor and creativity! Today, I thought it would be fun to highlight some of Hapa's original sushi rolls that have funny names (and sound delicious). Let's take a look!

We have also included some fun Tinder profiles for some of these sushi rolls, created by Kaitlyn Shriver.

Foreplay Roll

Take your basic California roll and wrap it in salmon—you now have the Foreplay Roll. It takes a beloved classic and adds a little something extra to mix things up. If you want to take things slow as you dip into these crazy (in the best way!) sushi rolls, start off with a little foreplay.

Orgasm Roll

If you're ready to take things up a notch, go for the orgasm roll. I ordered this one when I was there and it was really tasty! This is definitely one of my new favorite sushi rolls. While I appreciate the simplicity of traditional sushi, I'm not gonna lie, I love specialty rolls like this. In this sushi roll, you will also find a California roll wrapped in salmon, with the addition of a sweet soy sauce. It is also broiled in a spicy Japanese aioli.

Multiple Orgasm Roll

If you're looking to shake things up further, take the orgasm to another level. The Multiple Orgasm Roll consists of cream cheese, California mix, and smoked salmon. It is tempura fried and then broiled in spicy Japanese aioli. Add a sweet soy drizzle, and the roll is complete. I think this roll sounds very pleasing.

Booty Call Roll

This one includes a whole lobster tail on top of a roll filled with snow crab salad, tempura asparagus, and shiso. It is then drizzled with garlic sake butter. They pulled me in with the lobster tail, and that garlic sake butter sounds absolutely delightful! The name itself is hilarious. Now, this is the kind of booty call that won't hurt your feelings!

69 Roll

This sushi roll is rather ... specifically named. The 69 includes shrimp tempura, California mix, and a cucumber roll. It is then wrapped in salmon and broiled in the spicy Japanese aioli and drizzled with sweet soy. It sounds like all parties will be happy with this one.

XXX Roll

This roll is filled with avocado and tempura asparagus and wrapped in hamachi and jalapeños. It is then seared with olive oil and comes served with ponzu. Things are heating up with this guy!

Tootsie Roll

This name is too cute! I remember loving the classic Tootsie Roll candy as a kid. This sushi roll consists of freshwater eel, which I probably wouldn't have eaten when I was younger. These days, I consider myself a more adventurous eater, so I would give it a go. It also contains cucumber, sweet soy, and cream cheese.

Aspen Roll

I love that this sushi roll is named after a Colorado town. I always find it neat when businesses incorporate Colorado-based names into their products. I also really enjoy Aspen, which, of course, inspires me to try this roll. The Aspen Roll features a Spicy California roll that is wrapped in shrimp and drizzled with that garlic sake butter that sounds so amazing. You can visit Aspen, or you can have an Aspen roll; either way, you're sure to have a great time!

If you're looking to spice up your date night, why not visit Hapa? You can tell this spot has a great vibe based on the names of the menu items. I've only had the Orgasm Roll so far from their specialty menu, but I will absolutely be working my way through the menu.
