Pizzeria Locale Boulder will be transformed into sandwich heaven.

On April 7, Pizzeria Locale Boulder (1730 Pearl Street) will be getting a temporary makeover as cult-favorite Turkey and the Wolf transforms the pizza restaurant into a one-stop-shop for delicious sandwiches.

Chef Mason Hereford, founder and chef at Turkey and the Wolf, will join Pizzeria Locale Boulder's John Sismanis and team for a one-night-only event that will feature a variety of handmade sandwiches, salads, and so much more.

The menu includes tasty items like a Thai cabbage salad complete with crispy pig ear, roasted chili vinaigrette, herbs, lime, and sunflower seeds; an Italian-style pizza with mortadella, onions, salami, peppers, spicy olive cream cheese, and Italian vinaigrette; and a fried bologna sandwich with Leighann's bologna, mustard and mayo, shredded lettuce, and chips.

Turkey and the Wolf is a New Orleans-based restaurant that has been named "America's Best New Restaurant" by Bon Appétit Magazine, as well as made "The 40 Most Important Restaurants of the Decade" list by Esquire Magazine. Between its quirky yet surprisingly delicious menu, there's a reason this tiny sandwich shop has the cult-following that it does!

If you're interested in attending, reservations for the pop-up takeover at Pizzeria Locale Boulder will start at 4 p.m. on April 7 and are highly encouraged. However, walk-ins are still welcome. To make a reservation, click here.
