Regardless of your relationship status, Valentine's Day is a day that deserves a drink ... or two. So if you're the festive type or just trying to do something a little extra special for your partner (guys, this counts as "showing effort"), we've got just the thing for you—five Valentine's Day-inspired cocktails that'll set the mood better than bouquets and Barry White.

Sparkling Sangria Recipe:

Ingredients:

  • 1 bottle of rosé
  • 1.5 cups of seltzer 
  • 1/2 cup of pomegranate juice
  • 1/2 cup of vodka 
  • 1/4 cup of raspberry liqueur 
  • 1 cup of sliced strawberries
  • 1 cup of raspberries 

Combine ingredients into a large pitcher and chill for at least one hour. 

Grapefruit Mimosa Recipe:

Ingredients:

  • Pink sugar 
  • 1/2 cup of grapefruit juice 
  • 1 bottle of champagne 

Dip the champagne glass in a bit of water to wet the rim then dip the glass in sugar. Combine ingredients in a glass.

The Honey Bee Recipe:

Ingredients:

  • .75 oz Drambuie 
  • 3 dashes of walnut bitters 
  • Top off with Prosecco 

Mix in a champagne flute. 

Raspberry Chocolate Martini Recipe:

Ingredients: 

  • 1.5 oz Chambord
  • 1.5 oz Kahlua
  • 1 oz heavy cream
  • Dark chocolate shavings 
  • Raspberry for garnish

Combine all ingredients, except chocolate and raspberry, in a shaker with ice. Shake, strain, and serve chilled. Add garnish. 

Love Potion Recipe:

Ingredients: 

  • 3 oz of Gin
  • 1 oz of lime juice
  • 1 oz of elderflower liqueur
  • 1 bottle of Rosé

Combine all ingredients, except Rosé, in a shaker with ice. Strain, pour over ice, and top off with Rosé.
