The limited-edition vanilla cake features six colors: red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and purple.

June is Pride month and brands have definitely gone above and beyond to celebrate this year. TGI Fridays is selling an actual rainbow layer cake, with proceeds from the sale of slices going to GLSEN, an LGBTQ+ youth advocacy organization. Usually only found at upscale bakeries and elaborate Pinterest boards, TGI Fridays has partnered with Carlos Bakery to get these beautiful and colorful cakes in its restaurants.

The cake has six colors of vanilla cake, each separated by a layer of vanilla icing and covered with rainbow sprinkles. The cake is made by Carlos Bakery, the famous bakery owned by Buddy Valastro of “Cake Boss” fame. Get it by the slice, whole cake, or in the celebration dessert box found at select Fridays’ locations. The box includes one slice of cake, ice cream, sugar cones, sprinkles, Pocky stix, and sundae toppings. Everything you need to create a wacky ice cream sundae.

TGI Fridays will donate a portion of the proceeds of each slice sold to GLSEN, an organization that initiates inclusive learning environments for kids and LGBTQ+ youth in addition to kids with marginalized identities.

"We are extremely grateful to TGI Fridays for this unique partnership - a partnership that extends beyond their generous financial support and helps fund and brings to broader, diverse audiences our mission and work ensuring LGBTQ+ youth are treated with respect in safe and affirming school environments," said Melanie Willingham-Jaggers, Executive Director at GLSEN. "This support helps amplify the important message of promoting acceptance and inspiring change and will help drive change in school communities from coast to coast."

The rainbow cake is available for curbside, dine-in, and online orders while supplies last. TGI Fridays will donate up to $25,000 to GLSEN on slices purchased through the end of the month.
