PEEPS are back for 2021 with new flavors and a DIY web tutorial series.

Everyone’s favorite marshmallow chicks are back after a holiday hiatus. After COVID-19 forced the factory to shut down last year, the company was unable to produce PEEPS® marshmallow treats for Christmas, Halloween, and Valentine's Day. Fortunately, the Just Born factory in Pennsylvania is back in business and has a bunch of new products to release this spring. The popular Easter treat will also be featured in a new web series called “PEEPSONALITY Live,” with special guests that will show you how to make PEEPS recipes and creations at home.

Along with the traditional pastel color chicks and bunnies, PEEPS® has a variety of specialty products including chocolate-dipped chicks and flavored PEEPS®. This spring Just Born is finally introducing new HOT TAMALES flavored PEEPS® and a Froot Loops PEEPS pop. The brand has also collaborated with Lofthouse Cookies for a special edition cookie with marshmallow flavored icing and PEEPS® shaped sprinkles. Look out for exclusive flavors like blue raspberry and raspberry flavored marshmallow chicks dipped in crème flavored fudge available at Walmart and Target stores.

Beginning March 9, fans can flock to the PEEPS Instagram page for a series of tutorials that will show you how to make PEEPS-inspired cakes, cookies, and crafts. The videos will be hosted by Instagram influencers and Duncan Hines baking expert Chef Brittany Wolfe. The lessons are geared towards families and are appropriate for every skill level.

Last year’s factory shutdown impacted holiday editions of MIKE AND IKE and HOT TAMALES. Expect to see those brands returning to the shelves in numbers this spring as well. The online store where you can buy PEEPS clothing, accessories, toys, and candy remains closed. In the meantime, visit peepsbrand.com to find a store near you that carries your favorite products.
