The specialty cocktail is a Velveeta version of the popular martini made with blue cheese-stuffed olives.

Kraft Heinz and BLT Restaurant Group are partnering on a unique happy hour cocktail: the Velveeta Veltini. It's a vodka martini made with Velveeta-infused alcohol and garnished with Velveeta stuffed olives.

The Veltini, or "La Dolce Velveeta," is a luxe martini made with quality vodka and a cheese-dripped glass.

Senior Vice President at BLT Restaurant Group, Scott Cronin said, "We worked closely with the brand to make this vision a reality, balancing the flavors of a typical martini with the nostalgic cheesy flavor we all know and love from Velveeta, and are excited for fans to experience this delicious over-the-top cocktail."

The cocktail will only be available at select BLT locations during "golden hour" that time before sunset when the sky gives off a warm golden glow. The drink is $15 and is available between 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. at BLT Steak New York, BLT Steak Washington DC, BLT Steak Charlotte, BLT Prime New York, and The Florentine in Chicago.

Those who don’t live close to a BLT restaurant can purchase a limited-edition martini kit through GoldBelly for $49.95. The kit includes a gold-plated cocktail shaker, two plastic martini glasses, olives, Velveeta cheese sauce, a one-pound Velveeta loaf, Velveeta shells and cheese and cocktail accessories.

Velveeta was developed in 1928 in an experiment using whey and leftover cheese pieces. The result was a shelf-stable cheese that melts perfectly and can be used in a number of recipes from grilled cheese to nacho cheese dip. Originally sold in a block, Velveeta can now be purchased sliced, grated, and in mini-blocks.
