The popular chicken chain now has a premium coffee offering and new dessert item on the menu.

Chick-fil-A is adding some new sweets and treats to its menu for fall. Beginning on September 14, guests will be able to get a chocolate fudge brownie and a new cold brew coffee drink. Along with the new coffee drinks, Chick-fil-A stores across the country will be upgrading to a specialty grade coffee called Thrive Farmers hot coffee. Fast-food restaurants around the country have been upgrading their menus with higher quality coffees to draw a higher market share of people who pick up their breakfast on-the-go.

Chick-fil-A frequently adds new drinks and shakes to menu to correspond with the seasons. The new coffee drink—the mocha cream cold brew—is a departure from the popular pumpkin drinks offered at most coffee chains.

"We are always looking to add fun and flavorful offerings to our menu, and these new dessert and snack options make perfect additions as we enter the fall season," said Leslie Neslage, director of menu and packaging at Chick-fil-A. "We received positive responses when we tested the Chocolate Fudge Brownie and Mocha Cream Cold Brew in select markets last year, and we hope our customers will be as excited as we are to have these sweet treats join our menu nationwide.”

The mocha cream cold brew is a cold coffee drink made with cold-brewed coffee, sweet cream, and chocolate syrup. Thrive Farmers coffee is produced by a community of farmers in Central and South America, using sustainable farming practices. The cold brew coffee drink will be available for a limited time. The new fudge brownie is available individually or by the tray and is a permanent addition to the menu. Earlier this year, Chick-fil-A also added 8-ounce bottles of its favorite sauces and a line of meal kits that can be prepared at home.
