The chocolate maker is looking to cheer everybody up with some festive Halloween treats.

It’s never too early to get ready for Halloween. And no matter what happens with the coronavirus, this is probably a holiday that you can easily celebrate while social distancing. Hershey’s has introduced four new candies for the 2020 Halloween season, and they are fang-a-licious. You’ll be running to the store to get these special edition Kit Kats, Kisses, Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups, and Cookies 'N' Crème. The spooky candies are expected in stores sometime this fall. 

Two of the special-edition chocolates are vampire-themed—Hershey's Kisses Vampire chocolates and Hershey's Cookies 'N' Crème Fangs. The Hershey’s kisses are filled with a dark red strawberry cream that looks like blood, and the Cookies 'N' Crème Fangs have cute fang designs imprinted into the chocolate.

It’s not Halloween without Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups. Over the years Hershey’s has created special Halloween versions, including the pumpkin-shaped cups that have become part of the regular lineup. This year the brand has created Reese’s Franken-Cups, a peanut butter cup with a green chocolate creme bottom. The Franken-Cups will be available in snack-size packs, as well as the standard sizes found at cash wraps.

Finally, Hershey’s has given the Kit Kat another makeover for Halloween. The Witch’s Brew Kit Kat is made with green-tinted chocolate coating that has a marshmallow flavor and filled with green creme. The Halloween special editions are all available in snack pack bags that start at $3.79.

Hershey’s is also bringing back favorites from Halloweens’ past including the Pumpkin Pie KIt Kat miniatures, glow-in-the-dark miniatures, and Hershey’s Kisses monsters.

Plus, there's another big reason to get excited about Halloween: this year the holiday falls on a Saturday! Well, that's something good about 2020, at least.
