It's called Snowga. (Snow + Yoga = Snowga. Get it?) Not only is it a real thing, but it's happening at Skyline Park in Denver until February 10, 2018!

Only in Colorado could you find people who would willingly practice yoga on ice. Why it's a thing, who knows? I mean, you're twisting and assuming all sorts of postures ON ICE. I think this goes without saying, but if you do partake in Snowga, please be careful. With that being said, everyone must complete a waiver prior to participating. You can fill out the waiver on-site, but it is also available online. [gallery type="rectangular" size="large" link="none" ids="28819,28820,28818"] When: Saturdays, through February 10 | 8 a.m. to 8:45 a.m. Where: The Downtown Denver Rink at Skyline Park Snowga is a free event, and functions on a first come, first served basis. Our advice? Get there at least 10 to 15 minutes early to guarantee a spot.

All participants must bring the following:

  • Yoga mat
  • Towel (to prevent slippage)
  • Water
  • Footwear (which will remain on during the class)
  • Gloves and outerwear

Not only is Snowga a fun way to enjoy the cool Denver air, but you're also able to get your namaste on at the same time. It's the perfect combination! For more information, please click here. Have you tried Snowga yet? If so, did you like it? And if you haven't, do you want to now? Let us know in the comments below.
