Talk about a big dill!

If you're a diehard pickle fan, then this is for you. A few weeks ago, Sonic Drive-In revealed a new menu full of items that put pickles in the spotlight. From the new Big Dill Cheeseburger to Pickle Fries, you'll be relishing in deliciousness.

The pickle-loaded cheeseburger is comprised of a 100% pure seasoned beef patty, with the perfect crinkle-cut pickles slices, a creamy dill-infused ranch sauce, chopped lettuce, melty American cheese, and crispy pickle fries all sandwiched between a toasted brioche bun.

But what's a cheeseburger without some fries? In addition to the Big Dill Cheeseburger, customers can also get an order of Pickle Fries, which we're told pair very well together. But you can also get them a la carte.

The Pickle Fries are classic dill pickle spears but cut into a fry shape, then they're fried and served with a side of ranch sauce for dipping.

"Our Sonic guests know that they’ll be able to find something new, unexpected, and totally craveable every time they visit their local drive-in. As we roll into summer, we wanted to make pickles the star of the show with these two new items that provide the ultimate pickle experience," Vice President of Culinary & Menu Innovation Mackenzie Gibson said in a press release. "We take pride in creating unique products that consumers crave, and the Big Dill Cheeseburger and pickle fries are sure to be the perfect combo for pickle indulgence." 

These new pickle-based menu items are available at Sonic locations from May 2 through June 26.

Now, all this talk about pickles has me reminiscing about that time when Sonic introduced the Pickle Juice Slush. Personally, I was not a fan. But, to each their own, I suppose?
