Your teen can work out for free this summer at Planet Fitness.

Summer can get boring for kids, and Planet Fitness wants to help. The “Judgement-Free Zone” (sic) gym is launching a new summer program to get kids moving. The Planet Fitness Teen Summer Challenge runs May through September and will give kids ages 15 to 18 the chance to work out for free at any of the company’s 1,700 locations. There is no limit to how many times teens can visit, and participants have a chance to win prizes, including money for college.

Kids that wish to sign up for the program must visit a Planet Fitness with a parent or a guardian and fill out a waiver. Once the waiver is turned in, kids can work out at Planet Fitness without a parent present. Teens must be at least 15 and no older than18 to qualify for the free membership, and it is limited to one location. Kids will be able to use all gym facilities and attend up to one fitness class per day. The program starts on May 15, 2019, and runs through September 1, 2019.

In addition, all kids will automatically be entered in the Planet Fitness Scholarship Sweepstakes. Fifty-one kids, one in each state and the District of Columbia will win a college scholarship and one grand prize winner will get a $5,000 scholarship towards the school of their choice.
