Thanks for nothing, COVID-19!

You can stop stalking the Easter Egg Roll website now. The annual White House event featuring eggs, a giant Easter bunny, and kids from all over the country has just been canceled for 2021.

Even though you can't roll your eggs on the famous White House lawn, you can still get in the spirit of things with this year's commemorative Easter eggs. The unique designs for 2021 include a rabbit wearing a mask and President Biden's two dogs, Champ and Major. You can buy them as a set or individually, and each egg is also inscribed with the signatures of the President and First Lady.

While the news is certainly disappointing, it is not entirely unexpected. This annual event draws interest from all over the country, with families entering a national lottery for tickets each March. With the current social distancing guidelines, it would be simply impossible to run the festivities as they had been in years past.
