An iconic fixture in Colorado could soon be sold to an Arizona non-profit. According to reports, The Stanley Hotel in Estes Park will be sold to Community Finance Corporation, which works with governments to build and maintain various real estate projects.

The Grand Heritage Hotel Group has owned the hotel since buying it out of bankruptcy in the '90s.

Now, there aren't a lot of other details regarding the sale outside of the Community Finance Corporation wanting to issue up to $475 million in bonds to purchase The Stanley Hotel, as well as pay off any existing debt, renovations, and more.

The Stanley Hotel is perhaps best known for being the inspiration behind Stephen King's horror classic The Shining.
