No injuries have been reported.

Several lanes of I-70, near Georgetown, were closed early today after a semi-truck caught fire. The road is closed eastbound between Exit 226 and Silver Plume, as well as Exit 228 and Georgetown.

According to reports, one eastbound lane has since reopened; however, traffic is still bogged down, so delays are expected. There's no word on how long I-70 will be closed.

The Colorado State Patrol in Golden reported that the semi-truck was "hauling frozen foods" before it caught fire. The cause of the fire is still unknown.
