Ocean City's own Seacrets Distilling Company has joined the fight against COVID-19.

Before anyone had ever heard of social distancing or the novel coronavirus, Seacrets was best known for their epic beach parties, concerts, and drinks served in the water. People came from far and wide for good food, great drinks, and to see and be seen.

Now, the Ocean City landmark is shifting gears and making gallons of hand sanitizer instead of their signature distilled spirits.

They're not quite ready for walk-in purchases yet, though. You can place a request online by sending an email to [email protected] and providing the following information:

  • Name
  • Business Name, if applicable
  • Approximate quantity requested
  • Tax Exempt Info, if applicable
  • Contact Information (phone, email)

Requests for hand sanitizer will be reviewed and filled on a pre-order basis only, for now. You can follow along for updates on the Seacrets Facebook page.

The restaurant side of the business remains open for takeout. Locals can still get their fix of their favorite Seacrets dishes by calling in an order. Carryout is available Friday through Sunday, from 12 to 8 p.m. each day. You can even get cans of beer and other beverages to go with your food. White Claw and jerk chicken, anyone?

For more information, visit the Seacrets Distilling Company's website. In addition to the hand sanitizer sales and carryout menu, they're planning a bunch of virtual concerts by some of your favorite musicians and DJs as well. You can catch replay videos on their Facebook page and see what events they have coming up. This is a great time to support your local OC businesses!
