The 10 p.m. order will expire on Friday at midnight.

The 10 p.m. "last call" order issued by Governor Jared Polis last month will officially expire on Friday at midnight. It will then be extended to 11 p.m. starting on Saturday night, which will allow restaurants and bars to serve alcohol for an additional hour.

Several restaurants were impacted by the "confusing" 10 p.m. order, including Reiver's Bar & Grille, which was found to "be in violation" of the order, even though no drinks had been ordered after the last call. (Watch our interview with Revier's General Manager Steve Lemonides on that incident.) However, despite the restaurants issuing complaints, a judge ultimately determined that the order would continue for the time being.

With the extension, Polis said that it's only alcohol sales that must stop at 11 p.m.
