On Monday afternoon, six teenagers were taken to the hospital after a shooting near Aurora Central High School, says the Aurora Police Department. The suspect is unknown.
The high school is on a secure perimeter, not a lockdown.
Aurora Public Schools will be sending out an email and automated message to communicate dismissal for students to all Central High School parents.
