The Jefferson County Child Abduction Response Team was activated Wednesday morning to help in the search for 11-year-old Lilly Ingalsbe, who went missing on Tuesday afternoon in Westminster, Colorado.

Around 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Lilly reportedly told her mother she was going to Countryside Park. She has not been seen since.

The Colorado Bureau of Investigation also issued an endangered missing alert due to the amount of time that's passed, as well as the weather that occurred overnight.

In addition, the Westminster Police Department will begin a door-to-door search for Lilly in the local neighborhood. With that being said, a large police presence will be in the area and police ask that the community has patience as they continue their investigation.
