AMC is looking for extras for its new series related to "The Walking Dead," so dust off that resume and practice your best I'm-so-hungry-for-brains face!

As you can imagine, a huge show like TWD has a ton of extras to recreate their whole zombie apocalypse world. This summer and fall, extras are needed for shooting the new AMC series in Richmond, Virginia, and a local agency is taking applications NOW. 

WHEN: Filming runs July through November 2019.
WHERE: Filming will be in Richmond, VA, at various locations.
WHO: Casting is open to SAG and non-union applicants.

The casting initiative for this project is being run by Kendall Cooper Casting RVA. To apply, you should send your current resumé and three photos: one up-close of your face and two full-body shots. The application should be emailed to [email protected], and the subject line should be "Walking Dead" for non-union applicants. Use the subject line "SAG submission" if you're a SAG/AFTRA member. People of all ages and ethnicities are encouraged to apply, but they are especially interested in people with a background in movement or dance. Make sure to include any dance, gymnastics, or athletic experience you have on your resumé!

As of right now, the project is still an unnamed series related to The Walking Dead and will have 10 episodes in its first season. It is unknown whether actors from the original show will be appearing in this new project.

If you are chosen as an extra, shoots will be long, often 12-hour days, so make sure you can make the time commitment. Being an extra is paid acting work, but housing and travel are not paid out on this project. Do you think you have what it takes?
