If you listen to Hot 99.5, you probably noticed someone missing from the iconic morning show.
Chances are, you've heard or listened to The Kane Show, the raunchy morning show on Hot 99.5. Syndicated all over the country, it was led by the radio host Kane, who seems to have gotten the boot.
The replacement is "Your Morning Show" featuring Intern John, Radio Rose, and Riley Couture, all regular fixtures on the previous programming. The new show's Twitter account had this to say about the shake-up:
You may have noticed a missing voice this morning. Still part of the iHeart family, Kane no longer appears on the show. We appreciate his mentorship & contributions over the years. The show continues with John, Riley & Rose with the great stuff we know you enjoy and more. pic.twitter.com/OyraelWSJR

It will be interesting to see if the coveted early morning spot will have the same chemistry with the streamlined crew. If they keep the regular bits like "War of the Roses," they should be fine, in my opinion. Kane was always something of a ringleader, and plenty of sass came from his cohorts, naturally.
Speculation is rampant about why Kane (Peter Deibler) was let go, but official sources are staying mum. They had to come out with another vague statement because people kept asking about the reasons for the change.
he’s still with the iHeart family, he will no longer appear on the morning show

For now, they just want you to embrace the new-to-you crew in the timeslot and continue to tune in. Only time will tell if the DMV will continue to do so.
Will you miss Kane and the original format of the show, or do you just listen for the other cohosts? Sound off in the comments!
