The Jefferson County Public Health Board voted 3-0 to end its mask mandate.

*Updated on February 11, 2022:

On Thursday, the Jefferson County Public Health Board held a virtual meeting and voted 3-0 to rescind JCPH PHO 21-006. So, officially, the mask mandate in JeffCo is ending. The health order required the use of masks in all public, indoor settings—and this applied to schools and childcare services too.

The mandate is set to end Friday, February 11, at 11:59 p.m.

"While the Jefferson County PHO is set to expire ... any state or federal mask requirements will remain in place in the county—such as the federal requirement for all individuals to wear a mask when using public transportation and CDPHE’s Public Health Order 20-38," says the press release.
