Masks are still required in all indoor and some outdoor attractions.

The Denver Zoo recently released an updated set of guidelines and rules for guests as we begin to enter the warmer months. Following the announcement of the City and County of Denver lifting its outdoor mask order, it looks as if the Denver Zoo is following suit.

The zoo writes, "in most outdoor areas of our campus, masks will be recommended but not required. However, masks WILL be required indoors and for some outdoor exhibits, experiences and attractions, for guests ages 3 and over. Please bring a mask with you to avoid missing out on something wonderful! "

In addition to easing up on its masks policies, the Denver Zoo is implementing touchless ticketing, limited and timed admissions, hand-washing stations, and other safety precautions that guests will be asked to follow.
