TSA also stated it would no longer be enforcing the mask mandate.

After a federal judge struck down the national mask mandate, Denver International Airport (DEN) announced on Monday evening it will no longer require masks. This comes after TSA said it will no longer be enforcing the mandate after it had initially been extended to May 3.

"Due to today’s court ruling, effective immediately, TSA will no longer enforce its Security Directives and Emergency Amendment requiring mask use on public transportation and transportation hubs," said TSA in a statement. "TSA will also rescind the new Security Directives that were scheduled to take effect tomorrow. CDC continues to recommend that people wear masks in indoor public transportation settings at this time."

DEN added that despite no longer enforcing masks throughout the airport, the requirement to wear one "could vary by airline or destination," so passengers are still encouraged to carry a mask with them when traveling.
