Curfews were in effect Saturday and Sunday, but have been extended for the next four nights.

Mayor Michael Hancock has extended the curfew set for the City of Denver.

Curfew will be from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m., Monday through Thursday nights. Previous curfews were put in place on Saturday and Sunday, from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.

The few exceptions to the curfew include:

  • Law enforcement
  • Colorado National Guard
  • Firefighters
  • Media
  • People traveling to/from work
  • People traveling to/from DIA
  • Medical professionals
  • Homeless persons
  • Anyone fleeing a dangerous situation

This applies to anyone on foot or in a vehicle in any space accessible to the public in the City and County of Denver. The Denver Police Department (DPD) will be enforcing it.

Breaking curfew could result in a fine of up to $999, said Attorney Kristin Bronson.
