Things are about to get chilly!

Enjoy the warmer weather while you can, Colorado, 'cause the temps are about to take a deep dive! Another bout of snowfall is set to hit various regions of the state this week, with snow expected to start falling on Wednesday. Here's what you can expect from this week's snowstorm.

According to local meteorologists, the Denver metro area will see snow start around 12 p.m. on Wednesday, with areas in Northern Colorado seeing snow even earlier, around 7 a.m. So, drive carefully on your evening commute home Wednesday evening, as it will be the most impacted by the snowstorm.

The National Weather Service says in a hazardous weather outlook, "There is a chance of freezing drizzle for parts of the urban corridor and eastern plains especially near Interstate 25 Wednesday morning into early Wednesday afternoon. Prepare for slick travel conditions. Precipitation will transition into light to moderate snowfall by Wednesday evening with the highest amounts located in the foothills."

The Denver area is expected to receive anywhere from 2–4 inches, with the mountains getting up to 4–10 inches!

Then, as we head into the weekend, dry and warmer weather is expected to begin on Friday and last through the weekend.
