The wild cats are calling Colorado their new home!

Wild Animal Sanctuary in Keenesburg, Colorado, has received 50 big cats following the federal investigation into Tiger King's Jeff Lowe's park in Oklahoma after the animals were seized this year.

In 2020, the sanctuary announced that it had taken in an addition of 42 animals back in 2017 from the Greater Wynnewood Exotic Animal Park.

Pat Craig, executive director of the Wild Animal Sanctuary, said that the facility has taken in 50 animals from the Tiger King Park since January—including 10 tiger cubs with four mothers and 36 adult big cats.

Pat Craig, the owner of the Wild Animal Sanctuary, told CBS4, "We knew more than a month ago this was going to happen. We have a refuge that’s 9,000 acres. So we have the room."

In terms of the big cats' condition, Craig was not able to comment on that per an agreement with the Department of Justice.

However, he did say, "We feel great. Obviously, we were concerned for the animals’ welfare. We’ve been doing this for 41 years, so we’re confident we can provide a good home for these animals."

Other animals seized from Lowe's park went to a San Diego sanctuary.

According to a statement sent to PEOPLE, Walter Mosley, Jeff Lowe's attorney, said, "Jeff tells me to share with you to 'watch Tiger King 2 for the real story, not the story made up by a corrupt DOJ.' "

No word on if another season of Tiger King is on the way.
