The public health order that requires masks in indoor spaces is set to expire this Thursday, February 3.
*Updated on January 31, 2022, at 3:28 p.m. (MST):
On Monday, Denver Mayor Michael Hancock announced the indoor mask mandate, as well as the proof of vaccination public health order, will not be extended. So, starting on Friday, February 4, masks will not be required indoors in Denver.
But, it's important to note: masks are still required in schools and childcare facilities.
Following extensive discussions with our regional partners, as well as current public health advise and the downward trajectory of cases, positivity and hospitalizations, the @CityofDenver will not be extending our public health order.
