His restaurant chain, ThinkFoodGroup, will give $50 gift cards to people who get vaccinated for COVID-19.

Chef José Andrés is offering up a new incentive for people to get vaccinated for COVID-19. Starting on May 8, 2021, the famous chef will give anyone who presents proof of full vaccination a $50 gift card, which will be good at any of his restaurants in the D.C. area.

The $50 gift card will be valid at ThinkFoodGroup restaurants in and around the DMV, including Oyamel, Zaytinya, China Chilcano, and Jaleo. To qualify, you must have received both your first and second doses after May 8, 2021. Maryland, Virginia, and D.C. all have vaccination sites with walk-up access and some drugstores, including CVS available for walk-ins.

Along a similar vein, Budweiser and Krispy Kreme are both offering deals and freebies for those who have been fully vaccinated!
