The accident has since been cleared.
On Thursday evening, a 30,000-pound military vehicle, which is typically used to carry personnel, fell off a flat-bed semi-truck that was transporting it along Colorado Highway 470, reports Colorado State Patrol.
Traffic was delayed significantly along the highway when the accident happened around 6:05 p.m., right at rush hour.

The military vehicle was resting on its roof in the middle of westbound C-470, near I-25.
Teams from the United States Army, Colorado State Patrol, City of Lone Tree, and Colorado Department of Transportation managed to remove the vehicle a little over than hour later. Traffic then resumed.
No injuries were reported.
