This follows the mass tragedy on Friday night in which 9 people died and hundreds were injured.

Rapper Travis Scott is giving full refunds to anyone with tickets to Astroworld Festival, as first reported by Variety. No details have been released on how or when refunds will be issued. Stay tuned for more.

The event sold 100,000 tickets within an hour of going on sale back in May; 50,000 people attended the event at Houston's NRG Park on Friday evening.

During Friday's event, NINE people died and hundreds of other attendees were injured when a huge stampede broke through the barriers and gates on festival grounds. The victims have been identified publicly by family, with ages ranging from 14 to 27.

Police and firefighters declared a "mass casualty" event at 9:38 p.m., just 32 minutes after Scott’s set began.

Scott and the Astroworld organizers, Live Nation Entertainment, face a lawsuit by two attendees who were injured at the concert.

In addition to refunding the Astroworld Festival, Scott is canceling his appearance at the Day N Vegas festival this upcoming Saturday. The Day N Vegas festival, like Astroworld, is a general admission event. Scott was scheduled to headline, and no replacement has been formally announced.
