These songs deserve a wedding invite!

There are so many factors that go into a wedding. From the wedding theme to the music, there are tons of things to consider when planning a wedding. Today, we are going to focus on the music. This is a detail that will help set the tone for your guests, and, of course, you and your partner will want music you enjoy as well. Let's take a look at some songs *I think* are great for weddings!

"Lover" by Taylor Swift

Taylor doesn't just make breakup songs! She has some beautiful love songs too, and this is one of them. The "First Dance Remix" has an added orchestral element that is just perfect for a wedding, first dance, or otherwise. It absolutely captures the feeling of romance.

"What If I Go?" by Mura Masa (featuring Bonzai)

The lyrics of this one are also very romantic. With lines such as "You, that's my lottery one," the song captures the feeling of being in love, without being a ballad. Of course, I love slower songs as well (see above), but there's something to be said about fun and dancy electronic music!

"Break the Ice" by Britney Spears

Your whole playlist doesn't have to be comprised of love songs! It might just be me, but Britney is a necessity on a good playlist. Who knows? The song may even help your guests break the ice themselves and get to know each other!

"Coming Home" by Leon Bridges

Add a touch of R&B/Soul with this hit from Leon Bridges. Whether you're slow dancing, grabbing a drink at the bar, or taking a moment to rest, this is an awesome lowkey and romantic song.

"Aquaman" by Walk the Moon

This song is so pretty and dreamy. The lyric, "And all I know is I wanna be here with you from now on," excellently captures what marriage means.

"I Wanna Dance with Somebody (Who Loves Me)" by Whitney Houston

We all know this is an absolute classic! It's sure to get everyone up and dancing. Plus, you will get to dance with somebody who loves you at your wedding! But you don't have to be in a relationship to enjoy this banger. This song is fun for couples and singles alike.

"Unwritten" by Natasha Bedingfield

If you grew up in the early 2000s, you know this one! There's just something about the energy of the song that feels warm and happy, which makes it a great song to have at your wedding.

"Work Song" by Hozier

This song makes me want to absolutely bawl. It's such a gorgeous love song, and the lyrics paired with Hozier's voice evoke a strong emotional response. The lyrics, "When my time comes around, lay me gently in the cold dark earth. No grave can hold my body down. I'll crawl home to her," sum up the feeling of love in an incredibly powerful way.

These are just a few songs that would make a great addition to your wedding playlist.
