This 4-inch pufferfish has proven that just about anyone can become an Instagram star.

Thanks to her dad, Joe Kogan, and his grassroots flyer campaign, Rona has become quite the regional celebrity. In just a few short weeks, she has racked up over 10,000 subscribers on her Instagram account. Local news outlets love her Cinderella story, and fish lovers everywhere can't get enough of her.

First day in the tank! #mbupuffer #puffersofinstagram #fishofinstagram

Rona is a Mbu pufferfish and will grow to many times her current size. In Tanzania, Mbus grow to over two feet long in the wild.

Once a week, Rona gets a live crawfish as a special meal. The outer shell helps keep her teeth ground down and it also fosters her hunting instinct. That doesn't make her feeding videos any easier to watch, though.

Rona's dad will include timely photoshoots like this one, reminding her fans to call their moms on Mother's Day.
