Richmond, Virginia, has taken upon itself as a city to be inclusive of many forms of art, and that has manifested in colorful, interesting murals all over the city.
These three are worth checking out next time you’re in town.
Andrew Helm Mural
This mural resembles almost a spirit-like woman and feels cool, edgy, and urban against its parking lot setting. Everything feels a bit abstract, and the colors blend together. It’s great for an outfit snap for Instagram or just on its own. Find it at 14 S. 15th Street.

Aryz Mural
Aryz has several murals up on the streets of Richmond, but if you’re looking for something particularly interesting and unique, check out the “food” mural. This mural features vibrantly colored fruits and vegetables. It’s unlike anything else, and you definitely won’t discover it in D.C. Find it near 117 N. 17
th Street, by the Farmers Market.
