It's about time for waterfowl season! But how do you know where you have the best chances? As we know many people enjoy hunting and fishing, especially in states like Colorado, we thought it would be a good idea to look at some of the best destinations for hunting. Today, we are focusing on waterfowl. Let's get into it!

Louisiana

The coastal marshes of Southern Louisiana are actually known as America's Wetlands. This makes it the perfect place for duck hunting! Over 9 million ducks can be found migrating to these marshes, due to the ducks migrating during the colder months. The Praire Pothole Region

The Prairie Pothole Region is huge for waterfowl hunting. Prairie potholes are depressional wetlands. Usually, these are freshwater marshes.

You will find plenty of ducks in the Prairie Pothole region, especially from October–early November. Saskatchewan
